A very big WELL done and congratulations to all our Juniors who took part in the Junior County Tournament last weekend.
We came away with our very own County Champions:-
Charlotte Jones winning the U13 Girls
Lisa Stewart winning the U11 Girls
Toby Anderson played well and met some very tough opposition in the U15 boys on Saturday (sorry I wasn’t there to support you Toby).
Our new recruit Jamie Handitye who has only played squash 3 times very bravely agreed to enter the U19 boys. He did amazingly well and I’m pleased to say the U19 boys were very kind to him lots of promise there – a very big well done, I do hope you keep with it.
Ben Stewart played well, winning 2 matches, losing (to the Dorset Champion in his second match) but also beginning to step up and play some good thinking squash.
Katy Martin-Davis & Charlotte Paulton both had some excellent games also against some very touch opposition which is great news.
There were 65 entries into the Junior tournament across all the age categories so we wait to hear what County teams we can field. Great stuff everyone keep it up it’s lovely to be part of your development.
