Dear All,
I would like to give you all an update on our fundraising for the court refurbishment, as of today we have collected over £3000.00 which has come in through the generous donations that so many of you have given to us. On Friday we hosted a fun Racketball Doubles Tournament and raffle at the club which raised over £200.00, well done to all of those who played and supported us.
We are still working on getting donations in for The Silent Auction which we will being doing mid September, we already have some great lots and again thank you to all of you that have helped with this.
I am pleased to inform you that work on the courts will begin on Monday 2nd October and the work is expected to last a week, obviously we will try and keep a couple of courts available through out this time for you to be able to still play.
The new Friday Doubles will restart this Friday and the league schedule is on the notice board. The individual Squash and Racketball Leagues will restart on Monday 11th September if you would like to enter please let us know, entries close Tuesday 5th September.
Saturday Juniors will restart on 9th September if you have any youngsters who would like to come along please ask for further details, these fun sessions are run by Samara and Richie who do a great job at the club.
I will keep you all updated re the courts and other fund raising events in the next few weeks and again thank you all for your fantastic support.
